LMJ's rehab outing
« on: August 26, 2017, 09:58:59 am »
Is anyone else concerned about LMJ's rehab performance last night? I don't really mind the hits and runs that he gave up, but the walks concern me. He was having issues with control before his DL stint, supposedly due to his back issues. Hopefully this is just rust rather than something that has creeped up between the ears.

I'm not convinced that he can be counted on at all. Not this season, maybe never. He's given us no reason to believe he can stay healthy.

I hate to say it but I kind of agree. All the more reason why I was hoping we would have traded for Verlander but I've given up hope on that. Starting to look like Keuchel, McHugh, Morton and Peacock for the playoff rotation.

I've given up hope that people will quit taunting the BBGs.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

So fucking true. TZ rookies must learn respect.

I know, I know. And I'm generally REAL superstitious. But SOMEONE has to be looking ahead so that there is a plan. You have to be prepared. Trust me, I won't say anything else. [emoji12]

Good thing. You were about be banned. The plan is one game at a time.

The team always has plan.  They aren't waiting on us to weigh in.  We fans should enjoy the ride and not get cocky.

I agree. I was concerned that he'd end up with the same problem that his dad had in the big leagues, and that was staying on the field.
