Astros dressed up like gay parakeets.
Lineups? I have no idea. Lets stomp the shit out em and pound that old Budweiser!
These are the worst unis in Astros history. Why not use navy instead of the sky blue?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They are beyond embarrassing.
After one out, Trout takes four pitches over the plate for a walk. No wonder this guy hits .300. His strike zone is the size of a nickel.
What's the purported reason for Stassi to go the DL?
Inflamed hand. I had one off and on between 13 and 29. Sometimes twice a day
Great, another two-out RBI.
After the inning should have ended on a double play.
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST Gattis.
That one bounced three feet in front of the plate. The first one was brutal and it cost a run.
Now Beltran called out on a pitch two feet off the plate. Seriously, this has been FUck The Astros Month from the umps.
These guys are accelerating the adoption of robo-umps.
I think after Hinch's rant, the unos have collectively decided "oh yeah, you ain't seen nothin' yet"
Hinch needs to double-down and make their perfidy unmistakable. I'd go so far as to pull up heat maps for and against at a press conference.
Back to back hits greets McHuggh in the 2nd...
And we're tied!Davis with his second ding dong in as many at bats.
Springer earns bonus points for badmouthing this ugly ass uniforms.
Springer has turned into Carlos Gomez.
These colors are cool on a late 1960's Ford GT. They're extremely uncool on a late 2010's Astros team.
No they are not. These colors are never cool. Ever. Under any possible circumstance do they look like anything other than shit.
I feel like the 1960's Ford might even be a stretch.
Who the fuck decided that "Players Weekend" meant "dress them up like fucking color blind peacocks"?
I've got no idea. Nicknames is one thing (however misguided). Completely irrelevant color schemes is a bridge too far.
Is this really what the players wanted?
My theory is that it was a "concession" that the owners were willing to give to the players' union in exchange for something else. Especially since it gives them one more piece of crap to sell.
Angels announcer nailed it, they look like the Flint Tropics uniforms from Semi Pro.https://www.google.com/search?q=flint+tropics&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS709US710&hl=en-US&prmd=ismvn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiNr5ec-PPVAhUD4YMKHTuRBvIQ_AUIESgB&biw=375&bih=591#imgdii=LUhOu_eh2U9MHM:&imgrc=sKSmdeBgmm9t3M:
My theory is it's the other way around. The league said "you can have this, but you have to dress up like clowns one weekend in return".
That could work too.
Kind of like if I'd won the powerball. I'd walk around and tell people "I'll give you a thousand dollars if you'll roll around in this mud puddle".
You are a kinder potential-lots-of-millionaire than I.
I don't know how rich people ever get bored.
Stop fucking stabbing at the ball Gattis.
Looks like there's a bit of sand in the gears of The Machine.
It is criminal that Gattis's nickname isn't Oso Blanco or Captain Caveman.
Or McCann.
FUCK. Come on Devo.
You know he's going to go 0-2 on Maybin and then fuck it up.
You were saying?
0-2 on Trout..1-2...2-2...full...gets him on a pop up
On a side note, this Salt Grass Dairy Steak House ad they show during the games......is this place any good?
It's a Fertitta place, isn't it?
Come on Marwin.... PLEASE....we need these two runs!!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Marwin is completely lost right now.
Calhoun probably gonna run here.....come on Gattis!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
YES!!!!!!What a play Marwin!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Calhoun probably gonna run here.....come on Gattis!!!
"That's a big bat."
Kalas made the correct point that Aluve wouldMIGHT not have caught that liner.
Big win. Saved at least two games in the standings.
If Davis says "you know" one more time I'm gonna kick him in the nuts.
Did they talk about Correa's rehab game?
not in the lineup last night at Fresno.
He played the night before with 4ABs.
For all the bitching we did Thursday about shitty defense, two outstanding plays saved us last night, Bregman's backhand stop and Marwin's leaping DP kept us ahead.
As a baseball fan, last night was a great game to watch. As an Astros fan I could have done without the drama of having to face Trout with the bases loaded in a one run game, but last night is why we watch.
