Not seeing any signs so far that the Astros will avoid the sweep. Cleveland is our kryptonite.

By the way, Cleveland leads 2-0 after 1 1/2, and Reddick helpfully GIDP'ed in the 1st.

High-speed photo caught Beltran's swing right at the moment of contact: it was the definition of "squaring it up".

Astros climb back within a run 2-1 after Beltran's HR to RF. On to the 3rd inning...

whatever the book is on Gomes they need to re-evaluate. Or just execute it.

Musgrove's stuff doesn't play up. He needs to figure out how to keep it down.

Two (2) two out walks prior to a HR is the equivalent of stomping on one's own dick with clown shoes that have metal spikes.

Our pitchers have to be about perfect against them because of how there pitchers control Houston offense.

Geez, how can a left-handed pitcher hit a right-handed batter in the foot? Talk about missing your spot.

When they show the strike zone graphic can anyone tell if the graphic is static or dynamic? I can't tell but it looks the same for a tall ass dude and it is for a little short guy. ESPN superimposes their graphic over the plate throughout the at bat. Root features it occasionally off to the right side of the screen. FSW has it upper right throughout the at bat.

I usually hate other people's kids at the ball park but other than the Ranger jerseys, that was a good segment with Julia.

Aoki goes down swinging to end the game after 9th-inning homers by Gonzalez and Bregman. Mr. Happy's wife is undoubtedly dancing around the house.

Tolliver goes 4 innings, gives up 1 run, and is rewarded with a trip back to Fresno.

Right. Hard to blame this one on the offense. Though the other 2/3 of the sweep are a different story.

I thought one positive from the day was that Tolliver may represent a lefty option out of the BP later in the year.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that the ambitions of the team may not align with the realities of sending out fiers and musgrove to start 40% of the games.
