Fiers. Fuck.

I guess the magic that made him awesome after his first brief demotion probably won't work again?

The  Astros take "being careful" to a whole new level.

The  Astros take "being careful" to a whole new level.

They have a loooooooooong way to go to catch up to the Nats and their horrific decision in 2012 to sit Strasburg in his rookie year during their playoff run. The height of arrogance in the face of the BBG's.

Fiers. Fuck.

Maybe the demotion will motivate him again.  But, I'm drinking Kool-Aid right now.

Here are his comments. Says it wasn't his decision.

In listening to Hinch post-game last night this is what he was implying. More a mgt. decision to hold McCullers back.

Colin Moran will rejoin the Astros on Tuesday. He's been activated from the disabled list.

Pretty amazing, after seeing his face bashed in, I assumed he wouldnt be back until next year.

Speaking of balls to the face, now Pedroia has had to leave after fouling a ball off of his nose. I've only ever seen that happen once prior to this year (and that was a ball that was fouled down and bounced up), and now it's happened three times this year.

He's been playing pretty well for the Quad Cities River Bandits through their playoff run and now that they are Midwest League Champions, there's nowhere left for him to play.

Then the season is over.  There are already too many guys on the roster.  They don't need another one.  This is another thing that frustrates me to no end.  They don't need every guy on the 40-man up in Houston taking playing time in the last two weeks.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

The ball bounced off the plate, then hit Pedroia in the schnoz.

That doesn't count then.

Yeah, I saw that today. So that goes into the other category, which is still incredibly rare. And has to hurt like hell.

Reddick not in the line up again today. I hope he gets back on the field before post-season.
He breezed him, one more time!

That's a bummer.

Luhnow during the game made it sound like conservative caution to hold him out. I hope he is ready by Monday so he can get his timing back.
