That was bush league. Gonzalez wasn't the problem there, but the lack of big league talent, and that Gonzalez obviously wasn't the GM's choice.

Fair or not there's always casualties and usually the manager is the first one.

Heard this morning that Gonzalez learned of his firing via... the team's travel itinerary.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.
