If this game doesn't feature a Keuchel perfect game and at least 4 grand slams, we are DOOMED.

VMartinez lines out to CF

No score.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

B1:

Altuve grounds out 6-3 on the first pitch
Springer singles on a grounder up the middle
Correa...full count...walks, Springer to 2B
Rasmus singles to LCF, Springer scores, Correa to 2B
White...3-0...3-1...3-2...walks, Correa to 3B, Rasmus to 2B
Gattis...takes two pitches, quickly down 0-2...1-2...takes strike three.  Horrible at bat
Gomez...checks swings...quickly 0-2...chops to 3B, out 5-3

Astros waste a golden opportunity, but still lead 1-0

B2:

Valbuena 0-2...works the count full...draws a leadoff walk
Castro lines one off the leg of Pelfrey for an infield single, Valbuena to 2B
Altuve...full count...walks, Valbuena to 3B, Castro to 2B
Springer...0-2...strikes out swinging.  Ugh
Correa grounds into 6--4-3 double play

Once again the Astros load the bases, once again can't hit the ball out of the infield.  0-4.

1-0

I was just reflecting that although I cannot stand that guy's music I am completely in awe of the fact that he had the wherewithal to collect that history and then the generosity to share it.

I did know he's a pretty big Jays fan.

I know he's always been a big baseball fan., but yeah, to recognize the significance of the history and wanting to share says he's a lot more than just a fan.

Hard to tell on TV if Springer should have made a better play on the ball or not, but DK did. It look happy with the effort.

I think DK was complain that Springer lost it in the lights again. Ash doesn't think so but I felt it was totally catchable.

Did Gomez lose his helmet on a "swing" again? If so I'm glad I can't watch, this phone would be lodged in the tv.

The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Mine too.  Though I'm not crazy about the LOBsters.  Still, a win's a win.  Keuchel looked terrific, Gregerson quickly put down the 3, 4 and 5 hitters of a good hitting team.
