Nice AB by White against Anabel Sanchez in the top of the 2nd.  Worked the count and then line drive up the middle off a 95 MPH FB according to the radio.

Erased by DP on first pitch of the next at bat (Castro)

Singleton walks on 5 pitches.

Hinch said he was going to let the leaders of the first base competition play  deeper into games starting in the 15th-17th time frame.  And White gets pulled again before his 3rd at bat.

You have to wonder if they've seen enough from him.

I like your optimism but that was an at bat against Drew Storen right there.  Extremely valuable experience.
