A few months ago, my world changed forever, as my daughter, Alexis Grace Vauthrin was born.  Attached you will find a picture of the newest Astros fan and my wife and I's pride and joy.  Once she is older, I hope to have her and my wife come to our annual opening day get-together with me.

Belated Congratulations!  She's beautiful, so I assume she takes after her mother?

Yes, she gets her looks from her mom.  And thanks, though it's my fault for not posting this much sooner.

Enjoy every minute.  Even the ones that aren't fun at the moment.

My little girl moved into a dorm last week.  Time flies.

I do, and those moments that aren't fun would be most evenings due to colic/being gassy.

Definitely true.  Alexis will be teething, crawling and walking in no time.  Also, thanks to all for the congrats and well wishes.

I just got a text from my daughter reminding me that 10 years ago today I dropped her off at college for orientation week. (Neil must have done the same.) Believe me, your time with Alexis will fly by.

For those of you who don't keep up, our daughters were born the same day and went to college together.  Coincidence?  Hardly.  I haven't seen my daughter in 10 years either.

Is there a picture that people are somehow seeing, or is this an elaborate trick to make me think I've lost my mind?

Yes, he has an attachment in the original post.  You should look more closely.

Based on some googling, I assume a mod is gas lighting me via some arcane forum settings (because there is certainly no picture)

Weird. I just looked at it. I was surprised, since the moderators have always prohibited pictures.

I don't seen anything resembling a downloadable attachment, but I'm happy assuming the kid is cute.

All babies are cute in my opinion, but I love infants. However, Alexis is a cutie, from what I saw.
