I can't stand David Ortiz,

I heart Marwin.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Looks like a 10 day layoff for McCullers was a bad idea

McCullers should try not throwing pitches in the middle of the strike zone.

Ashby sounds like JimR and Mr. Happy.  You got to wonder, though, if the layoff isn't killing McCullers.

McCullers wasn't helping, but he got through that inning pretty quick, so maybe it will pick up.

Rasmus kept turning on that inside fastball, but Ogando kept throwing it. That was was just a matter of time.

Very nice Mr. Gonzalez.  At least he has a chance to catch his breath.  I don't think it is going to be overturned, but he almost had it.

And it was the right decision to force the issue to have a chance to have a man on 3rd with 1 out.  All around a good baseball play, but the sox made a nice throw and tag.

Good aggressiveness. Good play got him, but that's the time to push that.

I thought right-handers couldn't hit Fields. This isn't the way the inning was supposed to start.

it seems like that grounder took forever to get to Altuve for the final out.  if he had been running hard who knows what might have happened.

Luhnow said they are do to check up on Springer at the end of the month, if everything is progressing as they hope he'd start rehab at AAA Sep 1.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
