Astros put a 4 spot on the board to get things started, highlighted by a Rasmus Double, Gattis Single and Amrwin 2 out single.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Grounder to CC followed by a grounder to Marwin, followed by a K, make quick work of the Indians B1

Nice way to start a game. Pretty much everyone sans Castro with a productive AB.

And Altuve thrown out attempting a steal of 2nd or it would have been at least 5.

Never hear the national press complain about the rickety old Fenway wall and injuries, but they can't stop with Tal's Hill.

The wall is charming. The hill is contrived.

So I hear.

Carrasco's off speed stuff isn't enticing the Astros. They apparently see it well.

I hope he's better than he was on Saturday Night Live.

Looks like Tucker has that chicken-wing thing figured out. 4-4 tonight with a HR, 2b, and two singles. And it's his B-day.

Tommorrow, someone should tell Tucker it's his birthday.

Ashby taking about wanting to be called Pud and Blum named his glove Pud. Blum always brought his pud out on the field with him.

So did he pound the pud in between pitches? Or after the game?

I'm not so sure Thatcher's much good at arithmetic either.

I must say that I would kind of enjoy the Mario "1 up" noise for each run scored if, you know, I didn't signify the bad guys scoring runs.

When did New Balance start making baseball spikes?  I can't remember ever seeing them until this season, which means it couldn't have made them much before the Astros TV imbroglio.

My son wore them in high school, so that's 5 or 6 years ago.

I've been wearing NB spikes since 2010.  They're fairly new into the baseball spike game (since about 2008, I think), but they've become extremely popular in the last 5 or 6 years.

Have you considered breaking into your neighbor's house a few times to check whether he stole one from you?
