Gregerson gets the win

Feeling stupid this morning but here goes:

I didn't see Wednesday's 6-5 win over KC.  Looking at the box score, I see the Astros broke a 5-5 tie with a run in the bottom of the 7th.  The begin the 8th leading 6-5 and hold on to win by that score.  Gregerson pitches the 9th inning and gets the W, not a save.  Can someone please explain?
