Altuve 3 run bomb!  Good guys up 4-0, top of the 2nd.

You're welcome! I was out mopping the back porch, finished my first pass and came in to see the ball flying over the fence. Five seconds earlier and that ball is caught on the warning track.

More good news: I have to go out and make a second pass at the porch in a while. I'll try to time it judiciously.

There's a guy a few rows behind me who's getting his money's worth. He's been all over Jed Lowrie. Literally a nanosecond before Altuve went deep, he yelled "too short to ride this ride". The guy sitting next to me yells "how about *that* ride?"

I'm getting tired of hearing about the Citgo fueling good roadtrip. It's the same ad as last year. Update us on the roadtrip or STFU already.

It's good to see Lowrie being pesky with his former club.

After starting the season like a bag of donkey turds, Valbuena has really played solidly.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Dont attempt to, you are likely to injure yourself.

Staying in the kitchen to knead the bread: -3 runs.
Going back out for the second pass on the porch: +1 run.

In the Bay Area for work. I was in Oakland because the Astros were playing there.

The cost of tickets is the least of your concern. It's my scotch and cigar per diem that will be the challenge.

Oil was discovered in California 140 years ago. They've been producing and refining oil all over the state, including the Bay Area, since then. In fact, it's a major industry in the state. I'm surprised this is a revelation to you.
