Peacock seems to have struck out 5 of the last 6 batters.  Does he look that good?

He was all over the place in the 1st inning. So, comparatively, yes, he looks that good. 93-95 FB, and I suppose mixing the breaking balls in enough to keep them off balance. Or maybe they're just caught by surprise every time he throws a strike.

How the fuck has Abad done this well for the A's? He sucked in every way imaginable for us.

Jerome Williams has 1.77 ERA in 20.1 innings for Phillies.

Sometimes I think it might benefit Altuve, in the long run, if he would just turn to an umpire occasionally after yet another shoulder-high strike, and snap "motherfucker, can't you see I'm fuckin' five-foot-five here"?

Funny thing was, I was half expecting a Carter home run.  The other half got it right, but still.

I was actually surprised that he whiffed on a full-count 91-mph fastball in the zone. He doesn't miss those so much anymore.
