Jake Buchanan

Various tweeters saying he's been called up to make the start tomorrow in his MLB debut. Peacock scratched from his start. Clemens sent down.

Looks like the 40-man is full up but Jose Cisnero is shown on the 15-day DL so a move there to the 60-man would free up space for Buchanan.

Interesting that it's not Oberholtzer.

Per the mlb.com transaction page, that's exactly what happened.

Perhaps he's pitched recently and couldn't go tonight?

Yes - any idea why not?

2-6, with a .476 ERA?

Talk about bad luck !  Most pitchers would DIE for that ERA.

Its time to give some different AAA pitchers a chance with the club--look what happened with McHugh!

Sounds absolutely nothing like a game of chess, in fact, but whatever.

I think he pitched yesterday or the day before.  I remember hearing his name when Sparky was giving a minor league update in the last couple days.

Last pitched on June 13 for OKC. He's also currently listed as the Redhawks starting pitcher for tonight's game at Tacoma.
