Fowler ahead of Springer is better. Only three hitters under .200 and Carter and Villar are close.

I don't know guys, Singleton is hitting .000.  He's not meeting my expectations.

Fewest strikeouts on the team. Hasn't been caught stealing and is yet to hit into a double play.

Can't get caught stealing with a o.ooo OBP.  Luhnow would have demoted him already if it wasn't for that idiotic $10mm contract that Bud Norris is all sandy-v'd about.

Ashby commenting on Altuve's poor fundamentals in catching and tagging. Altuve has improved somewhat, but it is still a weakness.

Singleton has a good eye for the zone. He showed that in the Spring Training and he just showed it on that at bat.

I believe that last might have been Pujols, which is even better than McHugh throwing himself out.

I can't watch the Astros, but I can listen to the games by broadcasting the mlb broadcasts through my phone into the Apple TV through the home stereo, but if I do that Kris can't use the Apple TV.  I can pick up radio if it's broadcast through the internet, but I can't get radio on the whole-house stereo otherwise.  Clear Channel, which owns Houston's 790 Astros flagship, doesn't broadcast through the internet.  Brenham does.  I can listen to Astros over the internet anywhere in my house by listening to Brenham AM radio.  That's progress.

That was a sweet swing by Singleton.
One thing that's always impressed me with Singleton is how he seems to know when it is time to launch the big swing.

According to Twitter people, Jason Lane is now pitching for San Diego.

Per Adam Wexler, via Twitter @awexler

Lane, now a lefty relief P, was called up today by the Padres, retired all ten Pirates batters he faced tonight, striking out 3.

Good for him!
