Ironic Porter quote
« on: May 30, 2014, 12:25:56 am »
Quote
"What a guy," Houston manager Bo Porter said of Springer. "It's been pretty impressive. It's fun to watch. It's almost must-see TV."

Must-see, can't see.  Maybe if tomorrow night's non-blackout gets good ratings, the wheels might start to turn a little faster and get us out of this ridiculous quagmire.

If Porter can achieve the same winning percentage in the last two-thirds of the season as he did in the first third, he's manager of the decade.

It's sad when only 95 losses for you team is considered a monumental success.

I just hope they don't publicly over-promote Springer too hard and too fast in a zest to have a FOTF to sell the TV carriers on.

He's young and cute. I'm thinking Springers Sweeties (I really thought Skanks at first but I know that wouldn't sell).

Right.  He's no Derek Jeter.

He could be the new and clean version.

Last night on Channel 2, the sports guy said someone already created the hashtag "Springer's Dingers".  Whatever that means.

The club is undefeated since I told Crane to fuck himself up the ass.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I saw him in the booth and wondered how he got up there without being assaulted.
