It takes being in training in god awful st. louis/jakes country for me to finally be able to see the Astros on tv.

True, still sucks though. I was a train driver for more than 20 years and spent a lot of weekends and holidays away from home. I don't miss that part of the job one bit.

Yeah, you definitely can relate to that. Same fatigue, same nutty schedules, same being gone from home. Not as many passengers complain on trains, though.

Thankfully, I got to see my dog and my Mom for a spell this weekend before flying out.
