Back to the small crowds again.

Cosart looking pretty sharp. Just one inning, but his command looks improved.  Maybe some of the mechanical changes are making a difference.

Small crowds and the Yankees are in town? Wow. Are they still using the dynamic pricing and charging too much for this series?

Fat Albert=Matt Albers?
Remember Jesus Alou being called out of the 1st base coaching box to pinch-hit a double vs. the Reds in '79 I think, to win a crucial game, and he patted Morgan on top of the head (ala Benny Hill w/the little bald guy) and Little Joe got pissed.....yeah,that was great.

I don't know whether this has been mentioned or not, but for the time being, on DirectTv, you can witness the game
on MLB Extra Innings HD Mix, channel 720, as one of the 8 feeds they show simultaneously. Marginally better than
catching it on your phone. At least I am able to in San Antonio.

It is.  These guys look good or maybe the Yankees just suck.  Hopefully a touch of both.

MLB.tv is about a minute behind Gameday.

Aren't you in Austin? How are you watching on MLB.tv (live). BTW - this just in: MLB.tv sucks! That is all.

I found my Mlb.tv synched up not too far from McTaggart's comments on twitter. Sometimes I push the "Live" button to make sure I'm caught up with what the broadcast has delivered to me. In the past it seems to get backed up for some reason.

I gotta be missing something, but isn't this year's payroll $45 million? The other amount sounds like last year's total.

That is pretty normal for here, I thought it was because of the distance.  So, maybe it isn't?

Nope, I typically find MLB.TV to be 20-60 seconds behind live action.  This also depends on which device I'm using (laptop is the least behind, then the iPad, followed well behind by my older Roku player).
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

What does that mean?

From what I could tell, all Astros pitchers are slow.

"Pace" is on the right and I think it's the average time between pitches in seconds.
