Wow.  I always liked Fromholz.  Terrible news.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Gun security and safety needs to be stressed more in our society (and this is from someone who hunts every chance he gets and owns 30+ guns).

Too many people leave guns loaded and chambered when not needed.

I am not anti-gun, but I wonder what you do with 30+ guns?

His song, "I'd Have To Be Crazy" is one of my favorite Willie recordings. I did not realize Fromholz actually toured with Stills' Manassas group but did not record with them. That Manassas album is a desert island album for me.

If I had 30+ guns I would be obsessed with gun safety too.

Well, I am anti-gun but as a reformed guitar collector I can fully understand why someone who appreciates a certain sort of machinery might want to possess any number of exemplary models.

I have more guitars than guns, and I have...1,2,3,4,...four guns.  I'm not anti either, though I'm sure there are many who'd prefer I stick to guns.

I don't have 30 but do have more than I need.  I've bought a couple and been given a couple and then inherited a few.  They add up.  They all still fit in one relatively small safe.  I will say that getting them all out to clean a couple of times a year is therapeutic.

I don't currently have any guns and I have four guitars but I'm still a better shot than player.

Hell, if I were a college student in America I'd be obsessed with gun safety too.

I/m no gun nut.  I do enjoy shooting and hunt every chance I get.  I think I bought maybe 4 of them myself.  I probably use the same 5-6 of them (I tend to use the same two rifles, two shotguns and pistol every season).  Almost all I inherited from my dad, granddad, and brother (who died young).  Most all are nice hunting rifles and nice shotguns.

I just keep them for sentimental reasons.  I will pass on my brother's guns and half my dad's guns to my brother's kids once they are old enough.  I will pass many of mine down to my son once he's old enough.

I have two small children so all my guns are stored in my safe that is bolted to my foundation.

Hunted with a very wealthy guy last weekend.  He has 450 guns.  That is a sure enough gun nut.

He's not exercising his Second Amendment right to bear arms, he's exercising his God-given right to be a wee bit obsessive.
