Bummer, Foster to have season ending back surgery.
Not a surprise. No need to rush him back and risk further injury to win three more games.
Meanwhile the Rams are beating the shit out of the Colts largely due to awesome special teams.
Awesome special teams? I wouldn't know it if I saw it.
Well, see if you can find the game. Their kick coverage unit is especially awesome. They have as good a special teams as they did during their Super Bowl years.
I knew what you were saying and of course that's a large part of the reason I brought it up to begin with. The other part is because independent of how terrible the Texans are this Rams unit is unbelievable.
Tavon Austin is one fast motherfucker.
It pays to have a good kicker. Tucker nails a big one.
4 catches in five quarters (three, really). I can only imagine the types of plays we didn't get to see from him the last three years.
Makes you angry, doesn't it. To think...if only they'd had a competent QB...
Is there a dumber player in the NFL than Keyshawn Martin?
I'd rather ask the offense to go 99 than have Martin try to field the punt and do something with it. It's not even close, really.
Beeeutiful.
At some point the defense has to step up now.
How 'bout that!
This organization fucking disgusts me.
The worst kicker in the history of the NFL...by A LOT...they still think he's the best they can find.
What idiot is calling these plays?
Monumentally horrendous play calling on that last drive.
I don't know how bad the play calling was but I know that the decision making on Keenum's part was poor.
What the fuck was that on 3rd and 3?
They're playing four deep prevent giving you the middle of the field...I know, let's throw three bombs at the sideline.
I know Ed Reed's a HOF player, but he should STFU in regards to this team.
Even when he's spot on? At least *someone* on that team is recognizing the problem.
Except that he doesn't recognize that he's part of the problem.
He's not the reason Kubiak is an idiot. He's not the reason Joe Marciano is an idiot.
Referencing a NFL Network video entitled, “Kubiak on the hot seat,” the report notes:That frustration channels from the coaching staff holding too much sway over the draft process and, according to Rapoport, keeping the team’s stars on the field too long. A string of defensive collapses have been pinned on a D-line that wears down late, something the Texans were guilty of against the Colts after interim coach Wade Phillips stepped in for Kubiak two Sundays ago.
This has been out for a couple of days, but it shows the concern of the front office
So, the concern of management is that the defense is on the field too much so they tire in the 4th quarter? I agree, but blaming the defense for that is clearly looking in the wrong direction. The offensive line is usually pretty rested in the 4th quarter, maybe some of them could pitch in...
That's not groundbreaking strategy.
