There have been years when this could be true. But let's face it, the bullpen sucks when we watch and they suck when we don't.

But there are signs of life. Lo has looked good most of the time. Zeid has pitched well in spots. Chapman has come up and thrown well. The season is too far gone for it to matter now but there is a bullpen in the making. They just need some experience and hopefully a couple of veteran presences added in the winter.

And a big role in the team's many losses. If you use last year as a base line, he is trending down in all offensive categories. But if he plays regularly through the end of the year he is going have 30 home runs and 80 rbis - nothing to sneeze at. And he is going to come close to the all time strike out record. He will be 27 next year. The Astros can afford to invest another full season in him to see if he can improve his contact. If he can, he will be a monster.

Exactly. This team has time and ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Let him play. This is the AL after all.
