Stassi on the DL. Cody Clark up for a cup of coffee. I am guessing he will only stay a day or so. Corporan should be off DL soon.

Altuve has really been dragging lately. His leg is clearly injured, and his hitting approach has been piss-poor for most of the past 3-4 months. Why continue to bat him 3rd, where he probably feels even more pressure to come up with big hits?

Altuve promptly delivers an RBI double his first AB. You're welcome. Should I go into how much Lyles has sucked of late? He could use the boost.

I'd prefer you talk about Springer's HR-less drought...

There are Canadians sitting behind me. I keep wanting to ask if they know Ted Cruz.

2 homers allowed by Lyles already? Kid's probably destined for the bullpen.

While this offensive outburst is nice, it sure would be nice if they could spread it around a little.

Carter is trying to accomodate you. 4ABs, 4Ks. I don't understand his aversion to hitting at home.

There was a surprising amount of Blue Jays fans there.  But they were far too drunk and polite to own up to the acquaintance.

Genius.

I don't know about you but I eventually decided that the piece, like the Guy Fieri menu, was satire. I base this conclusion on the extreme improbability of Berk Lanceman knowing anything about the Arcade Fire.
