MLB Payrolls (Warning: Graphical Content)

Well, bar graphs. This is just mind blowing when you actually put it in pictures.  Someone should have an axiom about that.

Pics aren't showing up...would someone be a doll and paste them in here?

No.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

That's great. I just wasted a good 30 minutes in there. Hildago in 2004 kills me. As do the stoopid Yankees.
Another trenchant comment by a jealous lesser intellect.

You have to go back to 1998 before anyone spent more than the Yankees.  Plus, not since the early 00s has anyone even been close.

Also, The Astros have only one player to whom they they have money committed in 2014.  It's Wandy Rodriguez.  Heads should roll!

ETA:  If you're deft with your mouse (NTTAWWT), you can find Berkman's $200k in 1999.

The Dodgers' 2014 column doesn't include any money for Kershaw. That graph is going to look (even more) silly when that kicks in.
