Springer coming to a town near you

Several of us were discussing this over on the Bus Ride, but there may be people who don't frequent that part of the site and missed it. OKC comes to RR for a 5-game series starting tonight. Drew Corleone, Sphinx Drummond and I went to one of the games last time OKC was in town, and Springer did not disappoint, crushing two homers and a triple. I'm going to go watch him rain cowhide death on the RR staff again, probably Thursday and Friday nights. Is anybody interested in an OWA get-together?

I was planning on going but the weird skin pain I've had on the left side of my torso for the past week has developed into shingles. For the next several days at least, I'm not going anywhere where I must wear clothes.

Thanks. The rash is right along the belt line of my left hip. For the next couple of weeks I'll be wearing my pants either like a gangster rap artist or Ed Grimley. I haven't decided yet, so until I figure that out, I'll just be laying around the house in my underwear.

Man, that sucks. I hope your case isn't too severe (if there's even such a thing as a case of "not too severe" shingles).

Saw Friday and Sat nights games with my ST buddy. Amador is an interesting addition as a future DH.

I was at last night's game and was very impressed by Springer's speed and Amador's size. That guy is really large.
