I don't get the DH rule. From previous games, I had assumed that if you were the DH, you couldn't substitute later as a defender. This assumption came from listening to games when Castro and/or Corporan was DH'ing and the announcers were concerned about the catcher getting hurt. When they used Elmore to replace Corporan, I again assumed my first assumption was correct, because otherwise, why wouldn't Castro have taken over at catcher after Corporan? Then, Elmore went into pitch, and I wondered who caught, and saw it was Castro. I also see that once Castro moved to catcher, no one filled the DH role. I guess you lose the DH once the original DH moves to a defensive position.
