I was driving around the other day listening to a news show on the radio. They were discussing the proposed canal through Nicaragua some mysterious Chinese company is hoping to build. One of the commentators said, 'Talking to a Nicaraguan about a canal is like talking to a Cubs fan about the World Series. It's just not going to happen.' I almost drove my car off the road I was laughing so hard.

Sveum yanks Garza after a leadoff walk to Altuve, and he is not happy. Covers his mouth with his glove as he's walking off the field, then hurls his glove and hat when he gets in the dugout, who knows what else after it went to commercial. WFW.

Pena takes a rip at the 1-0 pitch but grounds to the rover in short RF to end the game.

Shame Carter didn't share his enthusiasm for hitting. He took a 1-0 hanging slider right in the middle of the zone. Strike 3 was a slider on the outer half, but clearly a strike. Dude, you're the tying run and you've already doubled and homered in this game. If you see a fat pitch, fucking hit it.
