Seems strange to take the defensive hit of Wallace instead of Dominguez at 3B, just to get Corporan's bat in the lineup. Somebody 'splain this to me.

It's that Darvish is a rightie, and so the lineup is loaded with lefties?

Still, they had Harrison opening night, yet the lineup had three lefties.

I hope I am dead wrong, but Wallace at third as a routine thing worries me.

As a mildly interesting aside, I am watching the Indians game and Ty Van Burkleo (sp), you know, the guy that was the Astros hitting coach at the end of last year, is the hitting coach for the Tribe.

Sure, Corporan bats lefty, Dominguez bats righty... but is Corporan even a better hitter vs. RHP than Dominguez? And if he is, is he THAT much better that it's worth juggling everybody around and downgrading from Dominguez's glove to Wallace's? Seems unlikely to me. Especially with an extreme sinkerball pitcher in Harrell on the mound.

I'll say it this once and won't mention it again. Gonna take a while to get used to no JD. Got a low feeling in my gut during the pregame.

Is it about getting Corporan's bat in the lineup, or getting ABs for Castro when he's not catching?  It could've been Wallace at DH and Dominguez at 3B.

They say its because Harrell worked with Corporan in the spring.

Altuve with the leather!!!

The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Interesting how Brownie's banter is very different with the Blumshby than with JD. More dorkish...

Since I saw the replay, I know that The Bitch in this instance was AJ Assclown.  However, given that this is the Arlington Rangers, you may want to narrow down which bitch you are referring to. Just sayin'...

How about pitches that bounce?  Darvish has thrown probably 10 pitches over the plate tonight.

It really sounds like there are more bandwagonning Ranger fans there than Astros fans. Can't we build a fence around Dallas to keep those assholes bottled up?

No, because the Astros have turned everyone else outside of Houston a Rangers fan.

Or Bud Selig and MLB. Regardless, it's beyond poor form to play the role of road team douchebag fan, especially in Texas. Have some respect, don't come into another fan's house uninvited and take a big dump on the floor. But Berkman was right. Texas sports fans are by and large a gigantic frontrunning bunch.
