Well, fuck, Corporan. But that probably wasn't intentional on Morgan's part. It certainly shouldn't have given rise to an error on Corporan. Now Peen doubles home Morgan.

Call me psychopathic, but I'd would really like to hit Braun in the face with a fucking large fucking brick. I'm not a violent person. Just something about him.

While the team is bad, it would be nice to catch a little break.  That play on Morgan is just bad dumb luck.

These unis don't do much for me.

That's why he is the Peen. I thoroughly detest him, but he's one helluva ball player. He came in with a career .348 average against the Astros.

The Astros suck but that play with Nyjer is that extra bad luck the team seems to have on top of the sucking.

The hitter is in play on a wild pitch and is only out if the kick was intentional, which Meals ruled was not intentional..

The one night I get a chance to watch a game with no interference, they have to be playing the Brewers.   Of course here in BFE Iowa we're blacked out for most of the NL Central because we can just show up to these games of course.

FYB.

Wait a minute: you only get to be surprised by not striking out, or by not grounding out to the right side. You don't get to have it both ways.

37 wins! That puts the Astros just one win behind their Short Season A-Ball affiliate Tri-City ValleyCats on the season! #OutWinTheValleyCats #YouCanDoItGuys!

Really nice to see those guys experience some joy out on the field.  Great AB by Wallace to start it.

Amen. It's been long overdue for the club. Wallace's at-bats in general have been far better this season than last year. I'm very happy for Bogusevic because I really think that his big league career will come to an end after this season absent some type of miraculous finish.

Indeed. I kept waiting for them to fuck it up, but it just never happened.

I was THERE!

Bagwell switched the ball to his left hand right before throwing.
Tough call on the booted ball. The guy sitting next to me coached LaCroy at Uof L? And coached/coaches at San Jac? He said it should have been an out.

Very nice exciting win. The crowd was louder than I expected.

I failed at the fist pump attempt.

The Astros organization might have been expected a loss: Music for the fireworks came from 90's movies. Mission Impossible, Titanic, ....you get the point.

37 wins!

Just three behind the '62 Mets. Man, I hope the Astros can win four more. It would be asking too much for seven wins to try to eclipse the powerful 03 Tigers. But I think this team could luck in to four wins... maybe...

On August 11, 2003, the Tigers' record was 30-86. They didn't win their 37th game until September 4th. So, as bleak as things look right now, they were even bleaker for that club.

How about this! Speaking of the '03 Tigers, on September 30 of that year, according to bb-ref, they signed Rhiner Cruz as an amateur free agent. How's that for a move that "paid off" a long way down the road?
