Bogusevic is a very poor outfielder.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Would 3b coach have waived molina around there if bogey makes that a clean play off the wall?

Bogusevic is a very poor outfielder.

He's definitely not plus out there except for his cannon arm. He has shown poor routes to the ball: not Pence-esque routes, but not good ones.

So Nolan Ryan will throw out the first pitch in MMP. What a bunch of emasculated cockgobblers this organization is now. That's just profoundly embarrassing.

I'm blinded by the win streak but I'd still like to see a Nolan Ryan Voodoo Doll night that culminated with his retired jersey exploding.

I guess I'll point out the naked emperor here...the problem is the irrational worship of Ryan by the fans that's been going on the last 30 years.

They can't go through this season ignoring him, and there's still lots of fans in Houston who remember the good years he had with the club. it would send a subtle message if he wasn't the focus though, if they grouped him in with several other players, for instance.

I mean, seriously. Why the fuck would you celebrate the owner of a rival franchise? The guy who ran you out of the National League? I thought Crane was supposed to be an ultra-competitive guy. Turns out he's just another garden variety dickhead.

Fuck the fans who suck Ryan's dick. He was a good player for the club years ago, but the hero worship of him as if he was some sort of franchise player is ridiculous. Plus, he's made it clear for years and years that he has no affection for the Astros. Seriously, I don't understand why Astros fans loved him so much that they're willing to embarrass themselves the way they do.

He's probably ultra-competetive when it comes to making money, but he's just another owner. You can't trust them, you can't do anything about them, you can just be glad when they don't fuck something up.

+1 And they just showed a dickhead in a Ryan jersey. I have one too, but I haven't worn it in forever.

In general I know better than to try to argue with you but in this case there is no need for worry as I am in total agreement.

And right on cue some shithead who wasn't even alive with Ryan was with the team shows up on TV wearing a Ryan jersey. Dude wails on an uppity yankee and Texnecks love him forever.

Also, fuck draytons kids for being such apathetic brats so not to even want to accept perhaps the greatest possible bequeath I could imagine

This has been under-discussed, partially because I can't even get my head around it enough to complain about it.

Am I the only one who thinks the new Brown Hand Center spokesman is no less creepy than the crazy doctor himself?

No, you aren't. The new spokesman is just as creepy.

Did Brownie say that AnRod will be starting the game on wednesday? If so, how's he looked so far this season?

Haven't seen him, but his numbers aren't good. Too hittable, too many walks, pitch counts way too high (20+ pitches per inning in a few starts I've followed). The one positive is that he's at least racking up strikeouts, but that doesn't mean much when his ERA is just under 5.

All that said, his last start was pretty darn good.

Happ, for all his shortcomings, is exactly the kind of pitcher who should never see the mound against a team like St. Louis.

Castro has no baseball smarts.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

I can't understand it either, but my nightmare situation was Drayton suddenly dying and these idiots who don't want it and don't give a fuck about are left to decide what to do with the franchise.  I was just happy he sold it to anyone who had shown interest in actually owning the team before he shuffled off.

Pound some cold ones and go get some revenge on the Fishies tomorrow.

Also, Abad has absolutely no place on a major league roster.  I'm getting tired of saying that.
