Gordon leads off with a error on CJ that is called by Brownie a hit.

The Yankees are a monolith in America. I can't hate them, as much as their fans may annoy me. The Red Sox however...my dad's favorite player was Ted Williams and I loved him too, but they have the most obnoxious, whiny, aggravating fans I know of. I'm loving their collapse.

That's the beauty of baseball. There's a lot of time to brush up on trivia.

I meant the comment about Alan Ashby driving the actor who played Bobby on the Brady Bunch to the set sometimes.

That's what I was talking about. There's so much travel that there's lots of time to visit. JD probably found that out from Ashby directly when on the road with the club.

Went to HEB to get stuff for the banana pudding and they'd thrown three choice Angus packer briskets in with the selects. I love it when they do that, it's a little like Christmas.

Cliff Lee, who tossed ten shutout frames in his last start, is going on the DL.

We got away with having Downs in RF on that short popup. Two outs for Kemp, who hits a two run bomb. 3-0

Lousy call by HPU on Kershaw going to his mouth. But he strikes out Lowrie.

Why was it lousy? He licked his fingers, then went straight to the ball for the pitch.

Rhiner Cruz issues a four pitch walk to the eight. Kershaw presumably to bunt.

They changed the rule to allow you to wipe it off, which I think that Kershaw did.

If there was anyone at AAA ready, I'd say let him go but there isn't  Might as well let him play it out

Astros lose. Again. Dammit.

Who had 54 wins in the RFTL?
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy
