Is there anything else I really need to say?

I'm reminded of the scene from Full Metal Jacket when the drill instructor finds the donut in Pvt Pyle's footlocker...

"I have tried, but I have failed.  I have failed because YOU did not provide Pvt Pyle with the proper motivation.  So from now on, when Pvt Pyle fucks up, I will not punish him, I will punish YOU."

The way I see it, you owe me for one wasted leadoff double in the 9th.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Was that you guys he was talking about?  SWEET. (Unlike the results of the game, it should be 0-0 and they should still be playing now, DAMMIT!)

And if Cheryl was there, then das had no chance of a win whatsoever!

She wasn't there. Just us and das' bad luck!

What did he say? I did notice that a few people signed up for my Bagwell-Biggio Facebook page, so I figured they said something.

I said something about it in the GZ last night.  JD mentioned both of your names and said you were Astros fans at the game and had gotten there early, also that Melvin had started a Facebook page promoting Biggio and Bagwell for the Hall of Fame.

Bill Brown is a Facebook friend and I told him we would be there. It's cool that we got that shout-out!

I would tell das about it about this, but it would end up as a loss for us somehow.

So just for the sake of folks in here who are on facebook but have not heard of the site, let them know about it through a post and I'll sticky it up on the TZ for you. And by the way, I enjoy getting notifications from the site about new information you're providing. Now if only we could somehow send this information out to HoF voters so they can get it right!

I did specifically send it to voter John Heyman, who inspired the page in the first place after I heard him say in January (after the votes had been cast) that he "didn't know enough about Bagwell to vote for or against him." I guess he's never heard of Google. Or the MLB Network (though he works there). Or the Houston Astros.

Nice.  Next time, we're sitting in the nosebleeds...

If ever there was a reason for the "team error", that 4th inning was it.  Tough, tough loss to hang on Wandy.  He pitched very well, even in that 4th.

Don't think they showed you onscreen.  Next time, dress in costume, paint your chest, or something.

I agree about the team error concept, but the players stat mongers wouldn't stand for it.

Your range extends to those seats, as well. That being said, it's much better to have the seats we had last night. I'll be quiet now!
