If you've had pizza in NYC you're going to be disappointed with whatever you get in Austin. That said, most of my friends think Home Slice is the best. I kinda like Frank & Angie's myself.

There is a place on Congress called Quattro Gatti that makes a kick-ass wood-fired pizza but you've got to eat it almost instantly or it turns into mush. So, dine-in only.
I'm in love with rock and roll and I'll be out all night.

Homeslice and Saccone's are my favorites... Frank & Angie's is pretty good, too. Also like Rounders and Salvation.

The Brick Oven pizza on Braker and Springwood Rd is okay if you like wood fired pizza. I actually like it a lot, better than Austin Pizza just down the road.

I definitely enjoy Brick Oven's pizza, but I've never had much luck at that location in terms of quality.  The one on Red River never disappoints.

Good to know, I have had hit or miss at Braker and Spicewood. There is just something about pizza baked in a brick oven that I just love!

Best pizza in Austin?

Austin Pizza Garden, down Oak Hill way.
