214 mil.

Is that how much money he will be paid or how many pounds he is going to weigh at the end of the contract?

If he weighs 214 lbs in 2021, it will be because he died in 2018.

guess it has become en vogue to go over to the dark side since that is where the astros and all their former thorns in the side seem to be heading

Going to roam the same stomping grounds as Papa.  Might be quite a well worn path too.

It would be a pretty small circle around 1st base. Cabrera is apparently moving back to 3rd as part of the shakeup. Add Peralta at short and that could be the worst defensive infield, ever.

You know the Astros and Tigers will not be in the same division, right?

Verlander is going to have to strike out 350 next year if he hopes to win 20 games again.

Though technically in a nicer, but less historic stadium.

With Martinez out Inge will play third and Cabrera will DH.  Next year the infield ma be te worst ever.

Yes.  Cecil apparently squandered his money through gambling and bad investments, had an acrimonious divorce with Prince's mom, and Prince accused him of stealing $200K of his signing bonus when Prince was drafted.  They've apparently had conversations over the last couple years, but no reconciliation.

Since the Rangers failed to get Fielder signed, I suggest that they now turn their attention to a certain South Texas rancher and noted buffet aficianado.

They're not very slimming.

The damn DH is pulling star after star to the American League.  I don't think a DH-less National League will ever win more interleague games in a season ever again.
