Liking the score at the half. Glad the sun's shining so I can thaw out. Go Coogs.

Great season for the Coogs. Glad they could beat up on a Big 10 team to end the season.

Pretty decent defense by the Coogs.  Great fun to watch while "working."

Great win by the Coogs.  Defense was excellent today.  Eat 'em up!!
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Great day at the Cotton Bowl.  Defense dropped 2 pick 6's and still dominated.

Solemn faces from the PSU crowd on the train home now.

Completely different team took the field today than the one that showed up against USM.  Congrats to UH for finishing stong.

Great job, Shasta.  Nice win for the program.  Glad to see Keenum finish so strong, too.

Just got home from the game, great showing by UH fans, great game by Case and great job by the defense. I know that Penn State is not used to spread offenses, but jeez they are slow at every position on both sides of the ball.

Case directing the band after the game was classic.  Feel really bad for Carrier.  Outstanding time in Dallas.   Great weather, great football..what a day!

What's the report on Carrier's leg? I didn't see the injury, only that he limped off the field at the half. He apparently got hurt when I was standing in line to buy a pulled pork sammich for my boy.

...and cue the mass defection.

Kingsbury and Coach Stewart are both gone. I would be surprised if Phillips stays.

I just hope we can keep our core group of freshman intact - when Briles left, we lost a couple of key guys (current players and recruits) who could have helped us.

Still, what an exciting year for us!

JP is a Coog, so I think he may stay.  Heard rumors to SMU, but why would you do that.  At any rate, there is always turnover on recruiting when head coach changes.  Coogs will be just fine.

Because SMU is rich.

Right. I was hoping Phillips would get the job because of his loyalty to the program. However, in the end, I'm confident that Levine is the best man for the job - and I say that only because I have a lot of faith in Mack Rhoades' ability as an AD.

I heard some scuttlebutt about Phillips being a HC candidate for FAU, but that was over a month ago and nothing has come to fruition. Phillips has shown that he can be a capable HC and I hope he gets his chance. ...maybe in a few years Levine will leave for greener pastures?

In the last two years the Coogs have lost their top recruits to disciplinary reasons and attitude issues - so, I'm pretty fired about about our programs ability to get the best effort out of the guys who sign on with us.

Plus, we're not too far off from being able to compete for recruits with our in-state rivals.
