AA Holiday Meet at the Saucer 12/26
« on: December 19, 2011, 09:41:17 am »
Ty will be back in town, and plenty thirsty. Let's all get together and speak well of the last season in the NL.

The Flying Saucer, 815 West 47th in The Triangle around 5pm. See you all there!
I'm in love with rock and roll and I'll be out all night.

Might be back in town by then, not sure.  Count me as possible or probably or questionable like they do in the NFL.  Which means "who knows, but I'll try to be there".

I'm going to try to make back from Ft Worth early enough to swing by.

Was planning to make it but apparently we're going to San Antonio for the day.  Maybe next time.

I'm hoping to be there by 5:30. It may be closer to 6. Hope everyone can stick around a bit.

I'm jealous of y'all being able to get together. Have fun! Maybe one day, I'll be able to meet and drive some of you drunks around since I ain't drinking.

BG ignored us all all night. It was awkward.

We had a good group: two Marks, two Mikes, a Leslie, a Drew and a Jim. Duke and remy preserved their perfect non-attendance records, Waldo could not get permission to come, Sphinx was AWOL, and Taras was on Injured Reserve.

Many thanks to RB for organizing the party! Safe travels, Ty.

Sorry I missed it. Too many wrecks on I-35. Took forever to get home from Ft. Worth yesterday. It took 3 hours just to get from Ft.Worth to Waco.

Great seeing all of you! I wish I'd have gotten there sooner but it was still fun chatting and sampling brews at the Saucer. Looking forward to the next one.

I enjoyed seeing everybody again, even though I wasn't adventurous enough to try Mark's jalapeno beer or Jim's banana bread beer. Thanks to Ty for making the extra effort again and giving everybody a good reason to get together.

I tasted both but I don't think I would go for a full pint of the jalapeno, The banana bread was gooood. Also enjoyed the Austin Beerworks' Sputnik Russian Imperial Coffee Oatmeal Stout.

That jalapeno one stayed with me all night. It really came on strong about 20 minutes after I'd finished it.

Delicious!
