There's a lot of unintentional comedy in that Milo Hamilton/Rich Little picture, but I'm...just...wow.

This would be a brilliant joke if intended as "Astros-Wives, I'll take the wives".

The photo has a surreal quality.  It almost looks as if Milo has been Photoshopped in.

I heard Milo going on and on about how great Rich Little was on a radio broadcast recently, while DoRay feigned ignorance.  And I was thinking, Rich Little?  He was popular when I was, like, four years old.  Why the hell did they get Rich Little?  They couldn't get Shecky Greene?  Or Nipsey Russell?  Or that guy who always acted like he was drunk?  That would've been awesome.

All those guys were probably ahead of Rich on the list, but they're also all dead. Jonathan Winters was too hip for that crowd.

Damn, you're right. I remember he lost his voice to throat cancer and I thought I remembered an obit but I'm glad he's still around and evidently in decent shape. I just checked the casino he's been playing at but he's not listed through the end of the year. Mrs. Brand and I are contemplating going out there and I'd love to see him if he's doing a show someplace.

He played in Vegas in early April. I bet that he's playing the Catskills right now with the other elder Jewish comics, who are the best. Thank God that they live a long time. I loved Henny Youngman, who died at 92.

I don't in general and certainly not when it's coming from Don Rickles.

I just keep imagining how Mr. Little's act went over in a room full of under-25's, half of whom weren't born in this country.

I can assure you that everyone born in this country knows who Jimmy Carter is. You know, now that I think about it there are a surprising number of people around here named Jimmy. (Pronounced Yimmy.) I bet a lot of people got named after President Yimmy.

Looks like Melancon ordered the "Pee Wee Herman" from the tux shop. Also, I'm pretty sure he's one Barmes' alter-egos, or the other way around.
