Bravery the likes of which I cannot possibly fathom

God bless all of those who gave the last full measure of devotion on that day, and God bless America.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Amen.

This.

I haven't checked this out yet (blocked at work), but I saw a thread on another site that had this:

"go to www.live365.com and tune into "Rat Patrol Radio". they are replaying the original D-Day broadcasts. they are extremely interesting."

Much obliged for the link.

I'm headed there in a few weeks.  Looking forward to it.

I doubt that "thank you" is an adequate indicator of my feelings of gratitude to and appreciation for our military, but nonetheless... thank you for all that you have done, and given, and sacrificed, and lived and died.
And, by the way, f*** off. --Mr. Happy, with a tip of the cap to JimR

Planning this for later this summer.  Can't wait (and can't believe it took my umpty-fourth trip to Europe to get this on the schedule).
