I don't think so, Coach. I follow the Giants out here, and it seems that Belt just proved himself in spring training. They let Ishikawa go, which was no great loss in my opinion. I think that they didn't want to make the same mistake that they'd made the previous season in letting Posey start the year in AAA.

not so. he was headed to AAA until the injury. my source is impeccable, but maybe what he was told was wrong.

I think that your source was right, but I think that Belt just forced them by performance to keep him. The word out here is that he's got to prove them wrong now. Aubrey Huff isn't thrilled about having to play the outfield, and it's going to put more pressure on Andres Torres out in CF, but the kid can flat hit.
