the importance of the 7 questions

http://blog.chron.com/ultimateastros/2011/03/02/7-sink-or-swim-game-changers-for-the-2011-astros/

i guess this kinda rehashes things that have been said here but put in one precise place. i like the analogy of the domino effect and how they will fall. who knows maybe the "kids" will have breakout years or not enough fear to know who they are playing against.  again for some reason hunter pence seems to be in the midst of the question marks. who does come in and hit clean up if he goes into the doldrums. will he live up to expectations and the salary he now makes.  even if the astros come in surprise everyone and kicks ass, do you see the masses of fans in  houston forking out the money to see them play. i guess if you had to be nervous about a season this is it.  hopefully someone will come in buy the team and bring in , if not big guns, at least some medium sized ones and this season will not be a foreshadow of those to come
forever is composed entirely of nows

Shit. I went and read the comments and stumbled across this beauty:

Quote
I hope J.R. Towles gets to prove that he is better than Castro. For all the dollars spent, Castro has proven nothing. J.R. still holds the Astros record for RBIs in a game. If he had been given the same opportunity as Castro, the home town boy would have proven his worth.

Do these people not watch the games?
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

No, they do not watch the games. Towles is a problem. Just still having him around is a problem in my opinion. And Fredia, WTF????

Stop.

Stop right there.

WTF would you do that to yourself?

I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.
