Dot Coffee Shop
« on: December 04, 2010, 10:55:03 am »
Sitting here eating breakfast with the 9-year-old. He had his mind thoroughly set on a bacon and cheese omelet. He just wasn't expecting it to be as long as his arm. It is a daunting task, but he feels he is up to the challenge.

Man...that that brings back memories.  The Dot Coffee Shop used to be a regular late night drunk spot when I was in college.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

The country sausage omelet was a Friday lunch staple when I was in school.

Sorry to skeer you, Gizz. Dot was alive and well when we visited her this morning. The boy, by the way, finished all of his hash browns, most of the omelet,  and a biscuit. He didn't eat again until 8pm.

I don't know why, but this made me think of Gary Coleman.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, one of the lunch specials in this place could feed the Russian army.

Has anybody eaten at Kelly's? Food is great and the portions will feed 3 pepole easily.

Agreed
