Byrdak and Chacin outrighed to AAA. Byrdak, Chacin and Nevarez removed from the 40-man roster.  Levine LINK

"I talked to Tim and told him that at this point of time, we're trying to balance some things from a payroll standpoint," general manager Ed Wade said. "With his arbitration status, it just didn't fit for us."

Hard to believe that a 37-year-old Byrdak, off of a 38.2 inning season, would be due a raise from $1.6MM but there you go.
