World Series Game 5

Do or die game for the Rangers. 0-0 through 4.
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

Burrell - runners on second and third, one out, K.

This is the pitchers duel we all expected in game 1.

Ruh, roh!
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

Good for the Giants.  Happy to see an NL team win it all.

Hey Joe & Tim - You know what would be cool - even classy?  How about you shut the fuck up the next time a team wins something as monumental as the World Fucking Series?  Contrary to everything Fox and your endorsements tell you - MLB is not about YOU.  Let me hear the crowd, let me watch this rag-tag team celebrate a lifelong dream without your endless inane banter running over top.  I don't fucking care who was president the last time the Giants won.  Get over yourselves and get the fuck out of the booth.
Don't think twice, it's alright.

Great job by the San Fran. Didn't think there was a chance in hell they'd pound the Rangers like they did... but... they did.

And now The Void begins in earnest... UGH!

And admittedly a bit of an exaggeration... but... if Jason Castro turns out to be half the catcher that Buster Posey appears to be I'll be a happy guy...

Aren't they like the same age?

This Giants team aren't going away.  Posey, Lincecum, Bumgarner, and Cain are impressive pieces to build around.

This is the footballication of sports.  There's so much dead time in a football game that the commentary team have a lot of filling to do.  Fair enough, that's football.  But it has bled over into everything now, so for any sport the booth duo never just shut the fuck up and let the play speak for itself.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

dont know if it was here or not, but someone suggested that if you have surround sound to disconnect the front speaker.  That way you get crowd noise minus the idots.
