I couldn't take McCarver anymore. I've got the sound muted.
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

I was watching at the gym and getting TOTALLY PUMPED!

They showed Renteria driving in the winning run in 1997 and Tim McCarver said, "Wow, that's been 14 years ago!"

We all agreed last night not to discuss McCarverSex.

OK, but when you put it that way, Tim McCarver does sound kinda hot in an "Evil Queen from Snow White" way.

Rangers are peeing this thing right down their leg.

I'm still amazed that the Giants are gonna be just 2 games away from winning it all.  The fucking San Francisco Giants.  Where did they come from?

Absulutely amazing. Down 2-0 with 2 outs in B8 and allow 7 runs to score and are now down 9-0 going in to T9...
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

Almost didn't even win their division.

Not one superstar position player.

I just assumed the NL was crap and whoever won the AL (Yankees or Rays) would kick the crap out of the winner.

Buster Posey is the closest to it and he ain't that close.

The Giants have four above average players - three of whom are pitchers (and yes, ranging from above average to great) - and the most random tape job of bit players.  Every time there's a lineup change I'm amazed at who comes in.

Right, and I bet you that most non-Giant fans didn't even really know who the fuck HE was until this postseason.

It's the weirdest shit.   It's almost like...pitching beats hitting or pitching wins championships or something.
