Phillips with the leadoff homerun.  So much for that.

YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO WAIT UNTIL THE FIFTH INNING ROY!

Hate you.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Middle 5: CIN 4, PHI 0
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

Phillies score 2 in B5 after back-to-back 2-out errors to make it 4-2 Reds. Score another after walk, hbp, hbp, walk with 2 outs in B6 to make it 4-3 Reds.

Awful game for the Reds (in a lot of ways)...  Utley gets a phantom HBP on an 0-2 count. Then gets a safe call on a close play at 2nd (appeared to be out).  Then Stubbs loses a fly ball in the lights (run scores) and the relay to Phillips is dropped as he is trying to take it from him glove to score (another run scores). 5-4 Phillies.
