How many spellings did you try before you settled on that one?

Today's game on TV, AE made a great play in the hole against Hunter Pence.  Very few shortstops would have:

1. Had the range to get to that ball (it had eyes and no way the third baseman reaches it)
2. Caught, transfer from glove to hand and thrown the ball all in one motion
3. Thrown Hunter Pence out by four steps

I'm glad to hear he is doing so well.  I worried that the broken leg from a few years back might leave him, well, broken in terms of the player he once was.  It's nice to hear that he's gotten close to all the way back, if not all the way back, save a few extra clicks on the odometer.

There were several plays that Manzella made effortlessly today that reminded me of a young Adam Everett.  He is very smooth and has pretty good range.

He has real good range and a plus arm. I'm really excited about him. I wouldn't be surprised if he hit a little bit eventually, too.

I don't think that's what Limey meant.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.
