They just have the two games mixed up.

Bottom of the first...9-2 put out ends the inning...Going to the top of the 2nd, tied up 1-1.

The have the Twins/Sox and Astros/Tigers game feeds crossed.  The silence is between innings.

Wandy's all over the place. Johnson just made a spectacular dp on a sharp ball down the line. The team left the field after only two outs.

Is Bogusevic as brutal in the field as he sounds?

Usually he's fine but today it's been a circus out there. The first ball was Bourn's though I think.

Michaels 1 out 2b, Castro 2 out single makes it 3-2.

I just checked the boxscore. Towles looks like he wants to stay in Houston.

The Astros will be a much stronger team and org if Towles plays behind the plate and in the batter's box like an everyday major leaguer.

And if Roy and Wandy can combine for 37 wins and 417 innings.

And if Lance and Carlos could combine for 214 RBI.

And if Lyon and Lindstrom (I'm looking forward to the GZ birth of this duo's nickname) can stay healthy while blowing less than 12 combined saves.

And if...  there's plenty to go around with this squad.  Such is the beauty of spring.

Oh shit... I totally forgot about VOR promising something along the lines of Brett Myers winning 15 games, pitching 200 innings with a 3.80 ERA.  That would totally kick ass.  Hey, it could happen.  It might.  Why not?

Honestly, I'm not being sarcastic or cynical.  I get Jacksonian's point about Towles being a major leaguer so Castro can continue to develop.  I'm just so happy we're embarking on another season of Houston Astros baseball.  I love this time of year.  The good guys are playing baseball games against other teams, and every possibility is real and embraceable.

And hey, Vegas moved up from an Astros O/U of 73.5 last year to 77.5 this year.  Hell, in my opinion no Cooper signifies a better improvement than that.  I'll be in Vegas in late April happily taking the over.

Worst case scenario?  We get to watch baseball.  I’ll take it.  Every year.

Damn... I was asked last night how many I thought the Astros would win, and I said 78.  Sounds like I'm in tune with the "wise guys".
