Friday Beer Thread

I was given a 4 pack of Yeti Imperial Stout made by the Great Divide Brewing Co. in Denver chilling in the beer fridge.  Anybody else tried it?

I have not, but I'm off to find some Shiner 101, now that I'm back in Houston for the weekend (the covered wagon from Shiner to Midland apparently lost a wheel somewhere near Snyder).  Now I just have to figure out which cigar would go best with a pilsner.

OK...I'm finishing up my first Shiner 101.  It's pretty good, though it's not too far from the regular Shiner Blonde, at least on my first taste.  Perhaps as I drink more...

Well, the tradeoff for truly authentic Indian cuisine is Kingfisher beer.  Meh...drinkable with a nice, spicy meal.  Pretty worthless on its own.

I think the 101 is way better than blonde ... much more flavor and fullness.  As it happens, I'm off to visit the country where Pilsner  originated, so I'll make a careful taste test of the various local versions and report back.

I had a Victory Yakima Twilight Ale at Flying Saucer last night. WOW! What a delicous seasonal.

If you get a chance, try it out.

There's a Flying Saucer in Austin?

I finally joined the UFO Club back in October, and I feel like I'm making decent progress toward my saucer.

Hudson... I had the same thought about the 101.

Let me know if one cranks up, I'd like to attend.
I'm in love with rock and roll and I'll be out all night.
