Too bad the Phillies couldn't pull off a comeback tonight. That check swing strike 3 call on Utley in the 7th was horrible. Still was a very good series... considering how little interest I have in the two participants.

Now I start looking forward to every scrap of news or rumor about whatever moves the Astros make this winter. Only, uh, 3 months and a week til pitchers-n-catchers?

I thought this playoff season was very good baseball.  Despite all the butchered calls.

Funny, I just started checking out the Stros Spring Training schedule today.  Time to start lining up the next annual trip!  I wish they'd post the actual game times so I can nail things down.  With the holidays coming ST will be here before you know it.

The umpiring in the playoffs was awful in my opinion.
