Not an authorized Ding™ distributor so no points to be awarded for this one... but... saw this bit of trivia from Zach Levine at the Chron and thought I'd pass it along.

11 former Astros in the 2009 playoffs: (How many can you name before you look?)

When the Clark is dead, Spack will eat his spleen. Before he dies, Spack will put his posts under the knife so the Clark will see his threads wiped out forever...

Bruntlett was left of the PHI NLDS roster (and giving you credit for Andy Pettitte).  8 down, 3 to go (not including coaches - e.g. Bogar).

Hint: the last persons role on the Astros came as a result a trade, signing, pick-up, etc. involving 1 of the other 10 players.

Bingo!  That makes 11.

Bonus crappy trivia - I mentioned Bogar earlier, who are the other 4 former Astros coaching in the playoffs:

Hint 3: Current hitting coach for the Phillies.  Was traded by the Philadelphia Phillies to the Houston Astros for Tom Edens in late '94 and played with the Astros during the '95 season as well.

So that would be Magadan, right?
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

Too late for the ersatz-ding, but I saw him play in the regional at the Dish that year.  Great natural hitter.

I just saw Tony Pena on the Yanks' bench.
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit
