I'm looking forward to another SnS Opening Day celebration.
I'm in love with rock and roll and I'll be out all night.

Maybe the Astros will use six pitchers and no hit the Yankees.

For one inning, if Coop's still at the helm.

Well, it won't be FrankenBarry breaking our hearts......

Who would be your pick for Opening Day starter?

Naturally, Roy will start.  Since he's the team's "ace", despite Wandy having a better year (at least by ERA) than Roy's best season.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

But, while the one in 86 was a loss, it ended up being a great year.

I'm looking forward to it as well, but agree with you that drawing the Giants sucks.

Fredia is right...Astros brass will have to bring in Carl Spackler in his Hazmat suit to clean up the joint immediately after the scrubbies leave town.

I was at that game.  Around the 7th inning, it started to dawn on the crowd that the Astros were pitching a no-hitter.  It was a truly bizarre game.

Read this last in your wildest Creole speak (and a little imagination) and then ask yourself why the scrubs are there at all.

Me too. Between Oswalt leaving in the 2nd and Pete Munro walking a bunch of guys, it was easy not to realize the Yankees didn't have a hit until about then...
